The Vertical Farming, an emerging type of production that takes its name from the verticality of its crops, could represent the agricultural world of tomorrow. In this high-tech, connected world, everything moves very fast. To meet the growing worldwide demand for these innovative products, VOLTZ Maraîchage is launching an e-shop dedicated to Vertical Farms.

Choosing innovation

innovation

Our vocation has always been to respond precisely to our customers' needs, to offer them the best varieties on the market, and to evolve with them when necessary," explains Pascal Chrétien, Director of VOLTZ Maraîchage. So it was a natural choice for us to accompany Fermes Verticales, who have placed their trust in us in this indoor growing market. Our strong genetics in aromatics have enabled us to position ourselves in this sector with competence and confidence. We are also among the first seed companies to develop this new business sector.

With the arrival of the e-shop www.voltz-vertical-farming.comVOLTZ Vertical Farming continues its commitment to progress and innovation, to be the preferred partner in tomorrow's ultra-connected world.

"All are Internet users! For Solène Voltz, Sales Manager at VOLTZ Vertical Farming, "vertical farm operators are connected professionals, farmers 2.0. As well as being aware of environmental, energy and health issues, they are all used to online commerce.

To meet the needs of this type of customer, VOLTZ Vertical Farming has adapted its expertise to the requirements of e-commerce. Our solution is deployed internationally: the e-shop is accessible from every continent, 24 hours a day.

It's practical and saves customers time. Growing and germination times, productivity per m², number of seeds per kilo, resistance: all the important information on each variety is available on our site. In addition to ordering, the e-shop offers customers the possibility of requesting quotes or seed samples.

Drawing on VOLTZ Maraîchage's 37 years of experience in distribution and logistics, the Vertical Farming e-shop is able to handle international deliveries, in compliance with special legislation.

A forward-looking vision

The range is constantly evolving, thanks to the dynamism of our Research and Production department, which works tirelessly to meet customer expectations. Thanks to our status as a breeder of herbal genetics, we have developed a unique range of tested seeds specially adapted to Vertical Farming.

This in-house work enables us to meet the major challenges facing vertical farms, namely seed quality and purity, variety yields and regularity of seed supply. Plant habit, growth rate, appearance and taste: all the criteria that matter to the sector's players are taken into account. And this in-depth work is bearing "fruit". "The seeds are excellent, with no pathogens and an excellent germination rate. Such quality is rare in today's seed world" confirms Błażej, who operates a vertical farm in Poland.

"This website will be a means of presenting our future developments and highlighting the specific features of our products to our customers. We'll soon be adding new references, such as edible flowers and varieties adapted to the cosmetics industry... Stay tuned*" concludes Solène Voltz.

Reminder:

Vertical Farming (or vertical farming) is an agricultural production method that involves growing plants in stacked vertical structures, usually inside a controlled building, using technologies such as LED lighting, hydroponics and climate control. This technique aims to maximize the use of space, reduce the need for water and pesticides, and provide local, sustainable food production. Producers are setting up farms of widely varying sizes: from multinationals specializing in one species or variety to local farms supplying ultra-fresh produce to local restaurants.
